My jewelry career began with the friendship pin craze. I must have been about seven years old. Remember those safety pins graced by tiny, multicolored seed beads? We used to clip those onto clothes and especially shoes, and give them to only our very "bestest" friends. Then the hairclip fad hit, where I'd wrap plain old barettes with ribbon, and leave long tails onto which I'd knot pony beads. I took pride in my extensive collection which encompassed practically every color in my closet.

During college I was frustrated at the limited selection of jewelry available for reasonable prices. So I bought a few beading books, began investing in materials, and started learning the art of jewelry making. Soon I'd spent so much money on supplies, I had to figure out a way to recoup my investment!

Relying on a knack for graphic design, and utilizing the computer I received for graduation, I began designing cards on which to display my pieces. That evolved into my first catalog in 1997.

Since then I've been exploring my capabilities and perfecting my techniques. I've become extremely selective in the materials I use, and have focused on higher quality pearls, crystal and gemstones and pure sterling silver. I've begun to offer select pieces in gold as well, so please inquire if you're interested.
